For Doctors Jessie and Ben Konynenbelt, it was love at first sight! Their paths first crossed during their time at Indiana University School of Optometry. When they weren’t studying, they found time volunteering for multiple student organizations including the Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity. This allowed Ben to use his proficiency in Spanish during service trips to help the underserved in Mexico and Honduras. A fun fact is that Jessie and Ben were once within a few hundred feet of each other while Jessie was volunteering in Tegucigalpa, Honduras two years before they ever met!
